Tomorrow we head for Paris. Our train leaves London at 12:30 so we can take a fairly leisurely approach to the morning, breakfast and then pack before hopping on the Underground, saying goodbye to our Gloucester Road station, and head for St. Pancras International train terminal to catch the Euro-Star high speed line. We'll be going up to 200 mpg to get to Paris in 2 1/2 hours. The Park International has been a comfortable place to base out of. We've been spoiled by the full English breakfast buffet they provide. The continental breakfast at the Hotel du Petit Louvre will be more typical for this level of hotel. A lot of carbs. We've been walking a lot though. My pedometer has read 8, 8, and 9.5 miles over the last three days. We're in good shape to hit Paris where there's equally as much walking to be done. Next time we check in will be from France. Hope you are enjoying reading about and seeing what we're up to.

Last day in London
We had a three pronged goal today: Visit the Wallace Collection, a treasure trove of art and furniture design from the 18th Century; St. Paul's Cathedral, Sir Christopher Wren's beautifully designed Baroque masterpiece ("If you seek my monument, look around you"); and finally the modern art collections in the Tate Modern, a converted power station directly across the Thames from St. Paul's. In pictures below you'll see us taking off from Gloucester Road station, a couple of works from the Wallace collection (Andre Charles Boulle chest and Fragonard's "The Swing"), the home of the Wallace Collection, some of crew on top of St. Pauls, me with the Tate Modern over my shoulder on the right, and finally, Salvador Dali's, "Metamorphosis of Narcissus."
